WA Surveyors Terms and Conditions. (Waterhouse and Associates)

 

On accepting us for any tendered work you agree to our full Terms & Conditions.

 

Our payment terms are 10 working days unless otherwise stated.

 

We hold copyright on all supplied survey information regardless of its format. No supplied information may be copied or data from any survey used without our full consent and until payment has been made in full.

 

Our daily or hourly rate includes all equipment, whether site or office based, any additional equipment required will be asked for either in advance or when necessary. An additional charge or hire charge will be passed on to the client after prior arrangement.

 

While the nature of the job dictates that we work outdoors we reserve the right to stop work should we deem it necessary for our safety or we consider damage will occur to any equipment.

 

We use Topcon Total Stations, due to the nature of this type of equipment they are subject to small inaccuracies. i.e. Weather, Temperature, spherical conversion factors)

 

All survey levels are generated using Trigonometry calculations in-built into the instrument or from GPS. These are subject to instrument tolerances.

 

As some of the instruments we operate use lasers and whilst every care is taken we cannot be held responsible for any problems occurring from the use of this equipment.

 

We supply survey information by E-mail hard copies can be arranged at cost. Whilst numerous precautionary virus programs are used, clients open and install data supplied at their own risk.

 

We do not advise, endorse or recommend that survey plots are scaled from. CAD files are absolute, but variations in plotting and printing output can cause discrepancies on all mediums.

 

Should any anomalies arise during design work or on site during construction, we request that we be notified immediately in writing at our office address.

 

Limitations of Liability In the event of error or emission from or of a survey the client shall be entitled to a refund of such part (not exceeding the whole) of the charge for the survey concerned as is fair and reasonable having regarded the nature of the error or emission. WA Surveyors may in addition to giving a refund re-survey or procure a new survey of a correct nature free of charge. Except as stated above WA Surveyors will not accept liability in respect of errors or emissions whether or not arising from negligence. In any event in no circumstances shall WA Surveyors be liable in contract or tort or otherwise for loss (whether direct or indirect) of profits, business or anticipated savings or for any indirect or consequential loss whatsoever.
